Read verses from Allah's book while praying .

This hadith teaches us that when we pray, we should recite from the Holy Quran. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH would recite an opening chapter from the Book as well as another surah in his first two rak’ahs during both noon and afternoon prayers. In his last two rak’ahs he would only recite Surat al-Fatiha. This shows us how important it is to read from Allah's words during our prayers, as this was something that was done by our beloved Prophet himself. We should strive to make sure that we are reciting verses from Allah's book while praying so that we can be closer to Him through His words.
