EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's teachings on prayer. He taught his companions that after reciting the tashahhud in prayer they could choose any other prayer they wanted. The tashahhud is a short phrase of praise and supplication that Muslims recite during their prayers. It includes praising Allah and sending peace upon His messenger Muhammad (PBUH). By choosing any other prayer after this, Muslims are encouraged to make their prayers meaningful by including personal supplications and praises for Allah in them as well.
