Praying Without Ablution

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ate slices of goat's shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

Ja'far b. Amr b. Umayya al-Damari reported on the authority of his father who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah take slices from goat's shoulder, and then eat them, and then offer prayer without having performed ablution.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray without ablution if you have eaten something small or forgotten your wudu beforehand

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of praying without performing ablution after eating slices from a goat's shoulder. This shows that it is permissible to pray without ablution in certain circumstances, such as when one has eaten something small or has forgotten to perform ablution before prayer. It also teaches us that we should not be too strict with ourselves when it comes to religious practices, and instead focus on the spirit of worship rather than the letter of the law. Additionally, this hadith reminds us that even though we may have certain obligations in our religion, Allah is always merciful and forgiving if we forget or are unable to fulfill them due to extenuating circumstances.
