EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the ritual of taking a bath after menstruation. It was reported by 'A'isha that Asma' b. Shakal came to the Prophet Muhammad and asked him how one should take a bath after their menstrual cycle has ended. The Prophet Muhammad then explained that one should first wash their hands and feet before performing wudu or ablution, then pour water over their head three times, followed by washing the rest of their body with soap or some other form of cleanser. After this is done, they can perform prayer as usual without any restrictions or prohibitions from Allah SWT. The Prophet also mentioned that if someone has engaged in sexual intercourse during this time period, they must also perform ghusl or ritual bathing before praying again as it is an obligation upon them to do so according to Islamic teachings.
