Trimming Moustaches and Sparing Beards

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed his followers to trim their moustaches and leave their beards.

Ibn Umar said: The Apostle of Allah ordered us to trim the moustache closely and spare the beard.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَمَرَ بِإِحْفَاءِ الشَّوَارِبِ وَإِعْفَاءِ اللِّحْيَةِ
