The Importance of Praying Correctly

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of praying correctly and following the religion of Muhammad.

Narrated Zaid bin Wahb: Hudhaifa saw a person who was not performing the bowing and prostration perfectly. He said to him, "You have not prayed and if you should die you would die on a religion other than that of Muhammad".
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ رَأَى حُذَيْفَةُ رَجُلاً لاَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ، وَلَوْ مُتَّ مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْفِطْرَةِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of praying correctly and following the religion of Prophet Muhammad. It is narrated by Zaid bin Wahb that Hudhaifa saw a person who was not performing bowing and prostration perfectly. He warned him that if he should die, he would die on a religion other than that of Prophet Muhammad's. This hadith teaches us to be mindful when we are performing our prayers, as it is an important part in our faith and relationship with Allah SWT.
