The First to Enter Paradise

SUMMARY: On the Day of Resurrection, Prophet Muhammad will be the first to enter Paradise.

Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah said: I will come to the gate of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection. and would seek its opening. and the keeper would say: Who art thou? I would say: Muhammad. He would then say: It is for thee that I have been ordered, and not to open it for anyone before thee.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ آتِي بَابَ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَسْتَفْتِحُ فَيَقُولُ الْخَازِنُ مَنْ أَنْتَ فَأَقُولُ مُحَمَّدٌ ‏.‏ فَيَقُولُ بِكَ أُمِرْتُ لاَ أَفْتَحُ لأَحَدٍ قَبْلَكَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance and greatness of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. On the Day of Judgment, when everyone will be standing in front of Allah's court, it is Prophet Muhammad who will be given permission to enter paradise first. This shows how much Allah loves and respects His beloved messenger and how he has been given a special status among all other prophets. It also teaches us that if we want to get into paradise, we must follow in his footsteps and obey Allah's commands as he did throughout his life.
