Sahih Muslim 196c (Book 1, Hadith 391) #7656
The Testimony of the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be the first intercessor in Paradise and he has been testified to by a large number of people, while other prophets have only been testified to by one person.

Anas b. Malik said: The Apostle of Allah said: I would be the first intercessor in the Paradise and no apostle amongst the apostles has been testified (by such a large number of people) as I have been testified. And verily there would be an apostle among the apostles who would be testified to by only one man from his people.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect all prophets equally , Be humble , Appreciate blessings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the testimony of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and how it is different from that of other prophets. It is narrated by Anas b. Malik that the Prophet ﷺ said he would be the first intercessor in Paradise and that no prophet amongst them has been testified to by as many people as him. This shows us how highly regarded and respected our beloved Prophet ﷺ was among his people - even more so than any other prophet before him! Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about humility; despite being so highly praised and esteemed among his people, our beloved Prophet ﷺ still humbly acknowledged that there were other prophets who were only testified to by one person from their own community.
