Seeing the Unseen: The Light of Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked if he had seen his Lord, to which he replied that He is Light and it is impossible to see Him.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr: I asked the Messenger of Allah : Did you see thy Lord? He said: (He is) Light; how could I see Him?

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God's existence . Trust in His wisdom . Feel His presence through blessings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the impossibility of seeing Allah. It was narrated by Abu Dharr who asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ if he had seen his Lord. To this, the Prophet replied that He is light and it is impossible to see Him. This teaches us that we cannot comprehend or understand God's greatness and power as humans, as He is beyond our understanding. We must have faith in His existence and trust in His wisdom even though we cannot see Him with our eyes. We must also remember that although we may not be able to physically see God, His presence can still be felt through His blessings on us every day.
