Be devoted towards your faith & religion; Be aware; Be ready for revelations from God; Respect Prophets & Messengers ; Obey God's commands & teachings .

This hadith is about the revelation of Allah to His servant, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was narrated by Masruq who said that he asked 'A'isha about the words of Allah in Surah Al-Qamar which reads "Then he drew nigh and came down, so he was at a distance of two bows or closer still: so He revealed to His servant what He revealed". 'A'isha replied that it implies Gabriel who used to come in different forms but this time came in his true form and blocked up the horizon of the sky. This hadith teaches us that we should always be ready for revelations from our Lord as they can come anytime and anywhere. We should also be aware that these revelations are not limited only to prophets but can come even for ordinary people too if they are devoted enough towards their faith and religion.
