EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy of Allah, which is greater than His anger. It was narrated by Abu Huraira, who reported that the Prophet said that when Allah created the creation, He wrote in His book - which is placed with Him on the Throne - “Verily My Mercy overcomes My Anger”. This means that no matter how angry or displeased Allah may be with us, His mercy will always be greater and will ultimately prevail over any punishment or retribution He may have for us. This hadith serves as a reminder to all believers to never lose hope in God’s mercy and forgiveness even if we have done wrong and made mistakes. We should always strive to do our best and seek repentance from God for our sins so that we can benefit from His infinite mercy and compassion.
