QUICK LESSONS:
Take time out of your day for prayerful gratitude towards God .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates the nightly and morning prayers of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Every night before going to bed, he would say "Bismika namutu wa nahya" which translates to "In Your name I die and live". In the morning, he would say "Al hamdu li l-lahi al-ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana, wa ilaihi-nnushur" which translates to "All praise is due to Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us, and unto Him is our resurrection". These words are a reminder for Muslims that life comes from Allah alone, so we should be thankful for it. It also reminds us that death will come eventually but we should not fear it because Allah will bring us back to life on Judgment Day. This hadith teaches us that prayer is an important part of our daily lives; we should take time out of our day to thank Allah for all He has given us.
