Honesty & Trustworthiness of Abu 'Ubaida

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ said that for every nation there is an honest and trustworthy person, and the honest and trustworthy person of this nation is Abu 'Ubaida.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "For every nation there is an Amin (honest, trustworthy person) and the Amin of this nation is Abu 'Ubaida".
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينٌ، وَأَمِينُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ
