EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rights of manumitted slaves. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that when a slave is freed from slavery and becomes a free person, they have certain rights known as Wala'. These rights are given to them by their former master and should be respected. This means that even though they are no longer owned by their former master, they still have certain rights which must be respected. This includes things like being able to own property or receive financial support from their former master if needed. It also means that any agreements made between them and their former master should be honored and respected even after they become free people. By teaching this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was emphasizing the importance of respecting all people's rights regardless of whether or not they were formerly enslaved.
