This hadith is about showing compassion and mercy when leading others. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that while performing Tawaf around Ka'ba, the Prophet saw a man leading another person with a hair-rope nose-ring in his nose. Instead of leaving it as it is, he showed mercy and compassion towards them both by cutting off the rope with his own hands, then ordering the man to lead him only with his hand. This hadith teaches us that when we are in positions of leadership or authority over others, we should always show kindness and mercy towards those under our care. We should not be harsh or cruel but instead use our power to help those who need it most. We should also remember that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.
