QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic Teachings , Do Good Deeds , Strive For Paradise
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that the afterlife is much closer to us than we think. He said that paradise and hell are nearer to any of us than the leather strap of our shoe. This means that it is very close, so close that it can be felt in our everyday lives. We should always remember this when making decisions in life as they will have an effect on our afterlife. We should strive for paradise by doing good deeds and avoiding bad ones so that we can be rewarded with a place in paradise after death. On the other hand, if we do not follow the teachings of Islam then we will be punished with a place in hellfire after death. Therefore, it is important for all Muslims to remember this hadith and strive for paradise by following Islamic teachings throughout their lives.
