QUICK LESSONS:
Focus on your relationship with God
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the impermanence of all things in this world except for Allah. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet said “The truest poetic verse ever said by a poet, is indeed! Everything except Allah, is perishable”. This hadith teaches us that everything in this world will eventually come to an end and only God will remain eternal. We should not become attached to worldly possessions or people as they are all temporary and can be taken away from us at any time. Instead we should focus on our relationship with God as He will always be there for us no matter what happens in life.
