Sahih al-Bukhari 6446 (Book 81, Hadith 35) #6195
Contentment is True Wealth

SUMMARY: True wealth is not measured by the amount of possessions one has, but rather by feeling contentment in one's soul.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Wealth is not in having many possessions, but rather (true) wealth is feeling sufficiency in the soul".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be grateful for what you have and strive for inner peace instead of chasing after material goods. Focus on your spiritual growth instead of accumulating physical items.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that true wealth does not come from having many possessions, but rather from feeling contentment and sufficiency in the soul. This means that even if someone has very little material possessions, they can still feel wealthy if they are content with what they have and do not feel a need for more. This hadith teaches us to be grateful for what we have and to strive for inner peace instead of chasing after material goods. It also encourages us to focus on our spiritual growth instead of accumulating physical items.
