QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic laws while slaughtering animals/birds for consumption
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the permissibility of eating food that has been slaughtered using an instrument which causes blood to flow out. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said it was permissible to eat such food, except for when it was slaughtered using a tooth or a nail. This means that animals and birds can be killed in accordance with Islamic law by using instruments such as knives and swords, but not by using teeth or nails. It also teaches us the importance of following Islamic laws when slaughtering animals and birds for consumption. Furthermore, this hadith emphasizes the importance of being mindful about what we consume and how it is prepared in order to ensure its halal status according to Islamic law.
