EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said that he asked Ibn Abbas about the practices during the battle of Khaibar. Ibn Abbas informed him that during this battle, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade two practices; Mut'a marriage and eating donkey's meat. Mut'a marriage is a temporary form of marriage which was practiced before Islam but was later prohibited by Allah in Quran 4:24 . Similarly, eating donkey's meat is also forbidden in Islam as it is considered impure and unclean according to Islamic teachings. This hadith teaches us that we should follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and abstain from any practice which has been declared forbidden by Allah or His Messenger ﷺ.
