QUICK LESSONS:
Preserve knowledge ; Take care in preserving religious texts ; Share knowledge with others ; Respect for religious texts ; Learn from religious text
EXPLANATIONS:
When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed away, only four people had collected all of the verses of the Quran. These four people were Abu Ad-Darda', Mu'adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit and Abu Zaid. Anas bin Malik was an inheritor to one of these men, Abu Zaid, as he did not have any children or offspring. This shows us that it is important to pass on knowledge from generation to generation so that it can be preserved and shared with others for generations to come. It also teaches us about how important it is for us to take care in preserving our religious texts such as the Quran so that we can continue learning from them in our lives today.
