EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, we learn that Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) recited a verse from the Quran, which serves as a warning to those who do not heed its teachings. The verse in question is “Fahal-min Muddakir” or “And verily, We have destroyed nations like unto you; then is there any that will receive admonition?” This verse serves as an example of how Allah has punished those who did not follow His commands in the past and warns us to take heed of His words lest we suffer similar consequences. It also reminds us of our mortality and encourages us to strive for righteousness while we still have time on this earth.

The lesson here is that it is important for us to take heed of Allah's words and strive for righteousness while we are alive so that we can be rewarded in the afterlife. We should also remember our mortality and use our time wisely by doing good deeds and avoiding sinning so that we can be saved from punishment on Judgment Day.
