Reciting the Quran

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite a verse from the Quran.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet used to recite: "Fahal-min-muddakir (then is there any that will receive admonition?")
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَرَأَ ‏{‏فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ‏}‏ الآيَةَ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was known for his recitation of the Holy Quran. He would often recite verses from it and encourage others to do so as well. This hadith specifically mentions one particular verse that he would recite - “Fahal-min-muddakir” which translates to “then is there any that will receive admonition?” This verse serves as a reminder for us to take heed of Allah's words and teachings in order to lead a righteous life. It also encourages us to reflect on our actions and be mindful of our behaviour in order to stay away from sinning. Furthermore, this hadith highlights the importance of reciting the Holy Quran regularly as it helps us stay connected with Allah SWT and His teachings.
