Strive for justice & fairness

This hadith is about the punishment that was given to a man named Thumama bin Uthal from Bani Hanifa. According to this hadith, Prophet Muhammad sent some horsemen to Najd and they brought back Thumama bin Uthal who was then fastened to one of the pillars in the mosque. This hadith teaches us that justice should be served and those who commit wrongdoings should be punished accordingly. It also shows us that even though Prophet Muhammad was merciful and forgiving, he did not hesitate in punishing those who deserved it. This hadith also serves as a reminder for us that we should always strive for justice and fairness in our lives as well as our communities.
