EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of alcoholic drinks. It was narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying in the year of the Conquest (of Mecca) while he was in Mecca, "Allah and His Apostle have made the selling of wine (ie alcoholic drinks) unlawful". This means that it is forbidden to sell or consume any type of alcohol according to Islamic teachings. Alcoholic beverages are considered haram or forbidden in Islam because they can lead to intoxication and other negative effects on a person's health and wellbeing. The Prophet Muhammad also warned against drinking alcohol as it can lead to immoral behavior such as fighting, adultery, and other sins. Therefore, Muslims should abstain from consuming any type of alcohol as it is prohibited by Allah and His Messenger.
