QUICK LESSONS:
Perform shortened prayers while travelling on journeys .

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas tells us that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions stayed in Mecca for ten days, during which they prayed shortened prayers. This is known as Qasr Salah, which is a type of prayer that Muslims perform when travelling on a journey. It involves shortening the four rak'ahs of Zuhr prayer to two rak'ahs, Maghrib to two rak'ahs, Isha to two or three rak'ahs and Fajr to two rak'ahs. This practice was done by the Prophet ﷺ himself while travelling on journeys so it has become an important part of Islamic tradition. It serves as a reminder that even when we are busy with our worldly affairs, we should still take time out for Allah's remembrance through prayer.
