QUICK LESSONS:
Ask rulers or people in unavoidable situations for help when needed. Give charity when possible.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ discourages begging as a general practice. It is seen as a cut that one inflicts upon their face, and should be avoided unless it is necessary to ask a ruler or if one finds themselves in an unavoidable situation. In such cases, it may be permissible to beg for help or assistance. This hadith teaches us that we should not rely on others for our needs and instead work hard to provide for ourselves and our families. We should also strive to help those who are less fortunate than us by giving charity or donations when possible. Additionally, this hadith encourages us to think carefully before asking someone else for help and only do so if absolutely necessary.
