Avoiding Disbelievers' Garments

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) advised Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) to not wear garments of the disbelievers.

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Prophet saw me dressed in two saffron-coloured garments and asked, "Has your mother commanded you to wear these?" I asked him, "Shall I wash them out?" He replied, "You had better set them to fire". Another narration is: "These are garments of the disbelievers. So do not wear them". Muslim.
وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ رأى النبي علي ثوبين معصفرين فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏أمك أمرتك بهذا‏؟‏‏"‏ قلت‏:‏ أغسلهما‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ ‏"‏بل احرقهما‏"‏‏.‏ وفي رواية فقال‏:‏ ‏"‏إن هذا من ثياب الكفار فلا تلبسها‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of avoiding garments that are associated with disbelievers. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw Abdullah bin 'Amr wearing two saffron-coloured garments and asked him if his mother had commanded him to wear them. When he replied no, the Prophet ﷺ advised him to not wear them as they were associated with disbelievers.
