QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings when it comes to clothing and modesty
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of men wearing saffron-dyed clothes. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that it was not permissible for men to wear clothing dyed with saffron. This teaching is found in both Al-Bukhari and Muslim collections of hadith. It is important to note that this prohibition does not apply to women as there are no reports of the Prophet ﷺ prohibiting them from wearing such clothing. Rather, this prohibition applies only to men and serves as a reminder for us all to be mindful of our dress code and adhere to Islamic teachings when it comes to clothing and modesty.
