EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us against praising someone too much. It was narrated by Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari who said that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ heard a person lauding another person or praising him excessively and he said "You killed the man" or "You ruined the man". This hadith teaches us to be careful when we praise someone because it can lead to envy and hatred between people. We should not go overboard in our praise of others as this can lead to negative consequences for both parties involved. Instead, we should strive for balance in our words and actions so that no one feels slighted or hurt by what we say or do.
