Keep your word, Fulfill your commitments

This hadith explains the importance of keeping one's word and not breaking covenants. It warns that those who break their promises will be severely punished on the Day of Judgment. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was emphasizing that rulers should not break their covenant with the people they are ruling over, as this is considered to be one of the most serious sins in Islam. He was also warning people to think twice before making any promises or agreements, as they must keep them if they want to avoid punishment in the hereafter. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to keep our word and fulfill our commitments, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at first glance. We must also remember that Allah is watching us at all times and He will hold us accountable for our actions on Judgment Day.
