The Best Charities in the Way of Allah

SUMMARY: The best form of charity is to provide support for the cause of Allah, pay wages to a servant in the way of Allah, and provide a camel for use by a Mujahid.

Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "The best of charities is to provide canopy in the Cause of Allah, to pay wages to a servant in the way of Allah, and to provide a camel in the way of Allah (to be used by a Mujahid)". At-Tirmidhi.

QUICK LESSONS:
Provide support for God's cause; Pay wages to someone who works in service; Provide a camel for use by a Mujahid .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about charity and how it can be done in the way of God. It states that providing support for God's cause is one form of charity. This could include donating money or resources to help those who are struggling or fighting for justice and righteousness. Additionally, paying wages to someone who works in service to God is another form. Finally, providing a camel for use by a Mujahid is also considered an act worthy enough to be called charity. All these acts are seen as noble deeds that will bring reward from God on Judgment Day.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that these forms are some of the best charities we can do as Muslims because they benefit both ourselves and others around us while also pleasing our Creator at the same time. We should strive to do more good deeds like this so that we may gain His pleasure and mercy on Judgment Day Insha'Allah!
