The Prophet's Black Turban

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was seen delivering a sermon wearing a black turban with both ends of it falling over his shoulders.

Abu Sa'id 'Amr bin Huraith (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: It was as if I am seeing the Messenger of Allah wearing a black turban and both ends of it are falling over his shoulders. Muslim. Another narration is: The Messenger of Allah was delivering a Khutbah wearing a black turban.
وعن أبى سعيد عمرو بن حريث رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ كأني انظر إلى رسول الله وعليه عمامة سوداء، قد أرخى طرفيها بين كتفيه‏.‏‏‏((رواه مسلم))‏ ‏ وفى رواية له ‏:‏ أن رسول الله خطب الناس، وعليه عمامة سوداء‏.
