Observe modesty and simplicity even in death

According to this hadith from Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her), when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed away his body was shrouded in three white Yemeni cotton garments. None of these garments were a gown or turban. This hadith teaches us that modesty and simplicity should be observed even in death. It also shows us that we should not waste resources on unnecessary items such as expensive clothing for those who have passed away. Instead, we should focus on providing them with basic necessities and honoring their memory by following their teachings and example.
