QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid wearing brocade or silk clothing and drinking out of gold or silver vessels

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to avoid luxury items such as brocade or silk clothing and drinking from gold or silver vessels. He explained that these items are meant for disbelievers in this world and believers in the Hereafter. This hadith teaches us to stay away from luxury items because they can lead to pride and arrogance which can take away our focus from worshipping Allah. It also reminds us that we should not forget about the afterlife when making decisions about what we wear and use here on earth. We should strive to make choices that will benefit us both now and later on when we meet our Creator.
