Allah Hears All Voices

SUMMARY: Allah hears all voices and is aware of the disputes between spouses.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "Praise is to Allah Whose hearing encompasses all voices. The woman who disputed concerning her husband (Al-Mujadilah) came to the Prophet when I was (sitting) in a corner of the house, and she complained about her husband, but I did not hear what she said. The Allah revealed: 'Indeed Allah has heard the statement of her that disputes with you concerning her husband'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that Allah hears all voices, no matter how quiet or loud they are. It was narrated by 'Aishah, who said that a woman came to the Prophet complaining about her husband. Even though 'Aishah was in a corner of the house and did not hear what she said, Allah heard her words and revealed verses concerning her dispute with her husband. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember that Allah is listening to us at all times, even when we think no one else is around. We should also remember to be respectful in our disputes with our spouses as Allah is aware of them too.
