Friendship of the Prophets in Paradise

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that every prophet will have a friend in Paradise and his friend will be Uthman bin Affan.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Every Prophet will have a friend in Paradise, and my friend there will be 'Uthman bin 'Affan".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ رَفِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَرَفِيقِي فِيهَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the friendship between prophets in paradise. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Every Prophet will have a friend in Paradise, and my friend there will be 'Uthman bin 'Affan”. This hadith shows us how important it is to maintain good relationships with others as even after death, these relationships are still remembered and honored. It also teaches us that we should strive to become friends with those who are close to Allah as they are sure to receive great rewards for their deeds. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us of the importance of having strong faith and belief in Allah so that we can attain His pleasure and enter paradise where we can meet our beloved ones again.
