Splitting of the Moon

SUMMARY: The moon was split into two pieces.

Narrated 'Abdullah: The moon was split (into two pieces).
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a miracle that occurred during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is narrated by Abdullah that the moon was split into two pieces.
