EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of selling or giving away the wala'. Wala’ is a term used in Islamic law to refer to a relationship between two people that involves loyalty and protection. It is usually established through marriage, adoption, or other forms of social contract. In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbids any kind of sale or transfer of this relationship. He emphasizes that it should remain intact and not be broken by any means. This teaches us that we should honor our relationships with others and not take advantage of them for our own benefit. We should also strive to maintain strong bonds with those around us and protect them from harm.
