This hadith explains the rules regarding suckling or breastfeeding a child. It states that any kind of suckling done in the first two years of a child's life makes it haram or forbidden for them to marry each other later on in life. However, anything after two years is considered as food and does not have this effect. This hadith was narrated by Yahya from Malik who heard it from Ibrahim ibn Uqba who asked Said ibn al-Musayyab about this issue and he said that all that occurs in the first two years even if it is only a drop makes it haram for them to marry each other later on in life. He then asked Urwa ibn az-Zubayr and he told him the same thing as what Said Ibn Al Musayyab said.
