The Effectiveness of Suckling

SUMMARY: Suckling is only effective in establishing a relationship between two people if it occurs while the child is still in the cradle.

Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said that he heard Said ibn al-Musayyab say, "Suckling is only while the child is in the cradle. If not, it does not cause flesh and blood relations".

QUICK LESSONS:
Establish relationships early on for them to be meaningful and lasting; Take care of children from an early age; Respect relationships; Value connections with others; Foster strong bonds with family members and friends; Nurture your loved ones from infancy onwards .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that suckling, or nursing, is only effective in establishing a connection between two people if it occurs while the child is still in the cradle. This means that once a baby has been taken out of its crib, suckling will no longer be able to create a relationship between them and another person. This hadith teaches us that relationships are important and should be established early on for them to be meaningful and lasting. It also shows us how important it is to take care of our children from an early age so they can form strong connections with others later on in life.
