Respect for slaves, Treat them humanely & fairly

In this hadith, a man asked Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad if he could give his slave girl to his son for intercourse. Al Qasim forbade him from doing so and thus taught us that it is not permissible in Islam to engage in sexual relations with a slave girl. This hadith also teaches us the importance of respecting the rights of slaves and treating them humanely. It also shows us that we should not take advantage of our power over others and use it for our own benefit or pleasure. We should always strive to be just and fair when dealing with those who are weaker than us or who are under our authority.
