Be generous with your gifts; Treat slaves with respect and kindness; Follow the example of Umar ibn al-Khattab in your dealings with others.

Umar ibn al-Khattab was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the most influential figures in Islamic history. He is known for his wisdom and justice, as well as his generosity. In this hadith, he gives his son a slave girl as a gift but warns him not to touch her. This shows us that even though slavery was accepted at the time, it was still important to treat slaves with respect and kindness. It also teaches us that we should be generous with our gifts but also mindful of how they are used or misused by others.
