This hadith is about Umar ibn al-Khattab being asked about a woman and her daughter who were in possession of the right hand. He was asked if it was permissible to have intercourse with one of them after the other. Umar disliked both being permitted together and forbade it. This hadith teaches us that it is not permissible to have intercourse with a woman and her daughter at the same time as this goes against Islamic values which promote respect for women and children. It also shows us that we should always seek guidance on matters related to religion as even someone as knowledgeable as Umar sought advice before making a decision on this matter.
