The Blessings of Ramadan

SUMMARY: During Ramadan, the gates of Heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and devils are chained.

Yahya related to me from Malik from his paternal uncle Abu Suhayl ibn Malik from his father that Abu Hurayra said, "When Ramadan comes the gates of the Garden are opened and the gates of the Fire are locked, and the shayatin are chained".

QUICK LESSONS:
Engage in more acts of worship such as fasting, praying extra prayers at night, reading Quran and giving charity

EXPLANATIONS:
During the month of Ramadan, Allah opens up the gates of Heaven for us to enter and closes the gates of Hell so we can be safe. Additionally, He chains up all devils so they cannot tempt us away from our faith. This is a great blessing that Allah has given us during this holy month as it allows us to focus on our worship without any distractions or temptations. We should take advantage of this opportunity by engaging in more acts of worship such as fasting, praying extra prayers at night, reading Quran and giving charity. By doing these things we can increase our chances for entering Paradise in sha Allah!
