EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ giving glad tidings of entering paradise to three people; Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman bin Affan. It is narrated by Abu Musa that the Prophet ﷺ entered a garden and asked him to guard its gate. When someone asked for permission to enter the garden, the Prophet ﷺ would give them glad tidings of entering paradise. The first person was Abu Bakr who was given this good news without any hesitation or delay. Then came Umar who was also given this good news without any hesitation or delay as well. Lastly came Uthman bin Affan who was given this good news but with a calamity that will befall him in the future which eventually happened when he was martyred during his caliphate reign due to some political unrest at that time. This hadith teaches us about how important it is for us to be grateful for all our blessings from Allah SWT and not take them for granted as we never know when they may be taken away from us due to certain circumstances beyond our control. It also teaches us about how we should always strive towards doing righteous deeds in order to gain Allah's pleasure so that we can receive His blessings in both worlds; here on earth and hereafter in paradise inshaAllah!
