Holding Hands with the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was holding 'Umar bin Al-Khattab's hand.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Hisham: We were with the Prophet while he was holding 'Umar bin Al-Khattab by the hand.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَقِيلٍ، زُهْرَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَدَّهُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ وَهْوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the companionship between the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companion Umar bin Al-Khattab. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Hisham that they were together and the prophet was holding Umar's hand. This hadith shows us how important it is to have a strong bond with our loved ones and to show them affection through physical contact such as holding hands.
