The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was gifted with a mule from one of his companions. His other companions were envious and asked why they could not have animals like this too. The Prophet ﷺ responded by saying that mating donkeys with horses is something only done by those who do not know or understand the consequences of such an act. This hadith teaches us to be content with what we have and to be humble in our desires for material possessions.
