Marrying from Quraish

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explaining why he chose to marry from Quraish and not from among 'Ali's people.

It was narrated that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah , why do you marry from Quraish and you do not marry from among us? He said: 'Do you have anyone" I said: Yes, the daughter of Hamzah. He said: 'She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for family ties , honoring family members , treating all families with love and respect regardless of their background or origin .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates a conversation between the Prophet Muhammad and 'Ali ibn Abi Talib. In this conversation, 'Ali asked why the Prophet was marrying women from the tribe of Quraish instead of his own people. The Prophet replied that it was because Hamzah's daughter was related to him through breastfeeding. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be mindful of family ties and relationships when making decisions such as marriage. It also shows us how much respect and honor the prophet gave to his family members by choosing not to marry someone who was related to him through breastfeeding even though she wasn't part of his own tribe or people. Furthermore, this hadith also serves as an example for us on how we should treat our families with love and respect regardless of their background or origin.
