Praising Maryam bint 'Imran and Khadeejah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) praised Maryam bint 'Imran and Khadeejah as the best women of their respective times.

'Abdullah bin Ja’far narrated that he heard 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The best woman of her time was Maryam bint 'Imran and the best woman of her time was Khadeejah'.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ خَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ وَخَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا خَدِيجَةُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's praise for two of his wives, Maryam bint 'Imran and Khadeejah. He said that they were the best women of their time. This hadith teaches us to appreciate people who have done good deeds in their lifetime, no matter how long ago it was. It also shows us that we should be grateful for those who have helped us in our lives, even if they are not with us anymore. We can learn from this hadith that we should always strive to be kind and generous to others, just like these two women were during their lifetimes.
